There are some interested therapists around the world asking for venues and dates, but we cannot help them if we do not know where you are teaching!

Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee is continuing with the project of increasing the active participation of IBITA members.

It could greatly help us in increasing participants to stand for the vacant posts next year.
This month we are happy to present you two different positions that will be vacant next year; one is in the Education Committee and another in the Verification Committee.
My name is Monica Morelli, an ACI from Italy and IBITA member since 2009. During my membership I have served on different committees, I was the Member at Large of IBITA, I’ve worked on the Instructor Training Committee and in the last years I have been the chairperson of the Education Committee.
I have been a part of the Education Committee for 2 terms. It has been a very fruitful and exciting time, meeting many colleagues from all over the world and building friendships and new experiences. The committee has worked hard through numerous online meetings on some very challenging topics such as the new learning objectives for the theoretical part of the basic course. Our next goal is to establish the learning objective of the practical content of the basic course.
The committee works closely with the EC, the Research Committee, and the ITC to provide theoretical support for clinical practice, promote continuous professional development and ensure the quality of course content through continuous curriculum development.
A great deal of work which is nevertheless satisfying but can also be fun.
My name is Woo-Nam Chang from Korea, since September 2007, I’ve been actively serving as a BCI at IBITA, and from Sep. 2016 onwards, I’ve taken on the role of an ACI. During this period, I’ve had the privilege of delivering and guiding numerous learners through Bobath courses.
Additionally, I take great pride in serving as a member of the Verification Committee. I’ve been honored to hold the position, serving two consecutive terms from January 2021 to August 2024.
I primarily engage in financial audit tasks, focusing on assessing the effective execution of budgets and identifying any unnecessary losses.
Through this, I evaluate the financial health of the organization, ensuring transparency and accuracy in financial processes. The audit involves verifying whether budgets align with their intended purposes, and if expenditures and revenues are accurately recorded,
thus safeguarding the financial well-being of the organization. Additionally, by establishing and operating effective internal control systems, I contribute to preventing unnecessary losses and minimizing inefficient expenses.
The audit tasks provide an assessment of the organization’s financial stability and effective resource utilization.
This role goes beyond just verifying financial matters; it is also about shaping the future of our organization. Joining the Verification Committee provides not only opportunities for personal and professional growth but also a chance to contribute to determining the direction of our organization.
