Congress and AGM 2026 in Hanover, Germany
The 42nd IBITA AGM will be held on Friday 28th August 2026 at MHH Hanover (Medical Highschool Hanover, Carl-Neuberg Strasse 1)
The Congress will open on Wednesday evening 26th August with a Welcome party. This will be followed by educational days on 27th and 29th August and the AGM on 28th August.
Here is the LINK for detailed information. Note: latest online registration is possible until 10. August 2026. Any registrations made after that date can only be processed in person in Hanover.

Course Exemptions

Publishing IBITA recognized courses
According to the passed motion 10.1. at the 41st AGM in Tokyo, all IBITA-recognized courses must be advertised on the IBITA website. Please publish all the co-instructors or/and instructor candidates who are actively involved in teaching. If you need help, please contact the IBITA Secretary Victor Urquizo – [email protected]
A message from the Social Media Task Force
To further promote the Bobath Concept, the Social Media Task Force (Committee) kindly requests your cooperation with the following proposals. The information you provide will be featured on the official IBITA Instagram page, combining photos or short videos with accompanying text and hashtags. Please submit your content to Naoki Tsukada via WhatsApp.
- New BCI & ACI Members: Photos and comments from members who have recently achieved BCI or ACI status.
- Course & Activity Updates: Photos and comments highlighting upcoming course recruitment and ongoing activities.
- Course Advertisements: Information and promotional materials for scheduled courses.
- Testimonials: Comments and feedback from course participants.
- Group Photos: Group photos taken after course completion (preferably showing participants holding their certificates).
- Publications & Research: Books published or research papers authored by our members.
As these photos and videos will be published publicly, please ensure you have obtained consent from all individuals appearing in the media. Separate consent forms are available for this purpose.

Research Commitee
Are you conducting research? The RC would love to hear from you!
- Present your work in an IBITA webinar.
- Let the RC know about your current research.
- Share your publications for inclusion in the IBITA Library (Bobath-related or other research relevant to our members).
Nominating Committee
The IBITA Nominating Committee has been working on the nomination process for all committees with vacant positions.
We kindly ask all IBITA members to review the initial agenda and, should you notice any errors or discrepancies regarding the nominations, please contact the Nominating Committee as soon as possible.
For members who have not yet expressed their interest in standing for a position, we are still open to receiving nominations until the 21st of July.
If you would like to have a short meeting with the Nominating Committee to discuss a role or receive further clarification, we would be happy to arrange a brief call with you.
