Congratulations
Congratulations to Monia Alessi from Italy and Carlos Leite-Martins from Portugal who successfully qualified as Advanced Course Instructors in May 2023 and Aleksandrs Kucinska from Poland who qualified as a Basic Course Instructor in June.

URGENT ACTION REQUIRED – Statement of Instructor Status (SIS) for 2023 Deadline 30th JUNE
Please remember to be able to vote at the AGM, full members must have completed their Statement of Instructor Status (SIS) before 30th June and have paid their IBITA subscription before 12th August 2023.
The 2023 SIS for all members including retired members and instructor candidates closes on 30th JUNE. All members including HLM, retired must complete their SIS every year to maintain their membership of IBITA.
All Instructor Candidates (BCIC and ACIC) must upload a personal training profile form (PTPF) with their SIS submission even if they have not completed an assistantship during the last year.
To complete your SIS please go to the member webpage – Select “Your Profile” – select “Edit your Profile” – select “Fill in your Statement of Instructor Status Survey”.

Here are the important dates for the next two months.
- June 30 2023
- Statements of Instructor Status and Instructor Candidate Status submission deadline, to be completed by ALL members. Electronic submission via Member Profile on website – SIS Instructions
- July 1, 2023
- Subscriptions to be paid after 1 July and no later than 12 August – Invoice
- July 7th 2023
Country Representative Reports deadline. For more information contact the IBITA Vice Chairperson.
- July 12, 2023
- Committee Reports final submission date to the EC
- July 21, 2023
- Deadline to submit nominations for IBITA Committees
- July 24, 2023
- Final AGM Agenda will be posted on the website.
- Questions and comments can be submitted for discussion during the AGM. All members are encouraged to review the agenda and submit questions / comments regarding the reports and the motions by 12 August 2023 using the Google Doc. The LINK will be available later in July

Instructor Training Committee
The Instructor Training Committee is currently preparing to teach the below 2 Modules in Sweden
BCIC: UL- 28th – 31st August.
ACIC: Advanced Clinical Reasoning – 20th – 23rd August.
Financial Assistance for Instructor Training
Basic and Advanced Course Instructor Candidates
– Professional Development Support Grants (Procedural Manual Part V)
· For members with financial restrictions.
· Expenses towards attending Professional development activities not covered by other IBITA grants, including:
o Expenses to participate in ACIC Training Module and/or IBITA Congress.
o Expenses associated with Advanced Course Instructor Candidate assistantships, including the qualification event.
o Not eligible to re-apply for 4-years after grant receipt.

We have been contacted by an Occupational Therapist who runs a therapy and care service in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. She is looking to sponsor a Bobath Trained Physiotherapist or IBITA member who wants to move and work in the UK.
