2022 IBITA AGM/Congress
The virtual AGM was held on the Saturday 3rd September 2022. Thank you to everyone who joined the meeting especially those members for whom the time of the meeting was less convenient. The Zoom recording of the AGM is available for everyone to view LINK which includes some screen shots taken during the meeting and the AGM PowerPoint PDF LINK
The post AGM voting on the motions closed on 10th September and the changes are being made to the Byelaws and Rules and Regulations and the Procedural Manual.
The Chair’s Post AGM circular LINK summarises the results of the voting and AGM 2022 Minutes will soon be available to read.
Receipts for IBITA subscriptions will be issued in October, if you need specific information on your receipt for tax purposes, please let the Secretary ([email protected]) know by 1st October 2022
We would like to thank the Japanese group for organising the excellent ‘Host Country’ Educational Webinar on 10th September. The lecture by Professor Takakusaki titled “Postural control mechanisms by the central nervous system” was recorded and the PDF of his slides are available to view. BCIC Modules
The ITC is very pleased to inform you that we have just completed 2 Modules, Understanding the Complexity of Postural Control for the Functional Recovery of the Upper Limb and Hand and Understanding the Complexity of Postural Control for the Functional Recovery of Locomotion in Burgau, Germany. They were attended by 12 participants in the first Module and 17 in the second. Thankfully there were no significant issues with COVID. The participants, who were from Europe, Canada and South America have completed their feedback which was very positive. Everyone was very happy to be able to be together again and enjoy each other’s company while learning a lot. We will complete a summary of this feedback

Following the virtual AGM on 3rd September, the Nominating Committee wants
to thank all of you for being involved in that election procedure. Thank you for the announcement of interest, talks and e-mail communication.
To all the members elected, our congratulations and have a enriching time serving with your
colleagues. To the members not elected this time, thank you so much for your willingness to
