The following is Koji’s experience at the end of his second term in one of our committees, this may help you to understand how a committee can positively impact your professional and personal growth.
Hello I am Koji Takahashi from Japan. I have been a member of the Nominating Committee since 2019. When I was asked about standing for the Nominating Committee, I was a little hesitant. This is because I was not confident of my English language skills. However, the Committee members welcomed me warmly. I think I will be able to overcome my difficulties with English. The good thing about working on the Nominating Committee was that I got an overview of almost all IBITA members and the different committees. And I was able to interact with members from all over the world. This is a great treasure for me. I would definitely encourage IBITA members to take an interest in Committee work.
Take this opportunity to become more active within IBITA, contribute your unique skills, and help increase the value of our community. Together, we can make a lasting impact! We kindly invite you to complete the survey at the link below.

Educational Committee
The Research Committee and the Education Committee want to draw your attention to the cochrane training website. Doris Kutscher-Meurer made us aware of the possibilities and the knowledge available.
With a focus on evidence-based practice, Cochrane Training provides access to workshops, webinars, and interactive courses that delve into the latest research and methodologies. These learning events are not only valuable for personal development but can also be integrated into educational programs, offering students the most current and impactful knowledge in the field of neurological rehabilitation.
You can reach the Cochrane Training website with this link . Once you reach the site, you’ll find a navigation menu that includes various sections, one of which is dedicated to learning events. Here, you can explore the available resources and register for events that interest you.
Remember, Cochrane Training is a hub for evidence-based learning, so take advantage of the structured courses and comprehensive materials to support your instruction in neurological rehabilitation.
