Access to the members website and Google Docs
The access to the members website is restored and should work for every member. The link that is not working now is Education > Outcome Measures Resources. This will be accessible soon. The Research folder is also under revision. The ResCom will go over the folder by the end of this year.
In order to access to the Google Docs drive for the IBITA Documents you must use the same email address you registered in the members list. Otherwise, the access will be denied.
- To use navigation tools or bookmarks, first download the file as Preview or Adobe Reader.
- To download files from Google Docs you can either:
- Double click the file and select “Download” or
- Click the underlined Down Arrow in the upper right corner.
- In some cases, a Pop-up window will appear in the upper right corner with the statement: “Request for access to the document” This request should be ignored, as it is meant for editing the document itself, which is restricted to EC and some committee members.

Statement of Instructor Status (SIS) for 2024. Some members have still not submitted their SIS – this is a requirement for membership.
The 2024 SIS for all members including retired members and instructor candidates closed on 31st July as an exemption. All members including HLM and RM must complete their SIS every year to maintain their membership of IBITA.
All Instructor Candidates (BCIC and ACIC) must upload a personal training profile form (PTPF) with their SIS submission even if they have not completed an assistantship during the last year.
To complete your SIS please go to the member webpage – Select “Your Profile” – select “Edit your Profile” – select “Fill in your Statement of Instructor Status Survey”.
Subscriptions 2024/2025. Some members have still not paid their subscriptions – this is also a requirement for membership.

Publishing Courses
Please do not forget to publish the basic and advanced courses you are teaching in 2025/2026. Please publish all the co-instructors or/and instructor candidates who are actively involved in teaching. We have a lot of requests from all over the world and if we don’t know where courses are running, we cannot help with further information! If you need help, please contact the IBITA Secretary Victor Urquizo – [email protected]
Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee would like to thank everyone who stood for election last year and those who have expressed interest in joining a committee in the future.
Next year, we will be holding elections for some of our committees: Nominating, Research, Peer Review, Instructor Training, Qualification and Executive. We encourage you to get involved! The process is simple: we’ll inform you of the open positions, collect nominations using a survey, and voting will take place via postal mail before the AGM.
Becoming a committee member not only allows you to contribute to the growth of IBITA, but it also provides valuable personal and professional growth opportunities. You’ll enhance your interpersonal skills, build a stronger sense of belonging, and connect with new people.
Don’t miss out on this enriching experience! Francesco, Koji, and Adrian are here to support you, and we can assist by scheduling one-to-one meetings to help you . Don’t hesitate to contact us to [email protected]
Research Committee
The ResCom invites researchers within IBITA to present their work in a webinar platform. Those who wish to do so may contact Mika Ben David Bauch at [email protected]
