In Memoriam
As the Congress and AGM begun in Sweden, the sad news was received that Luca Cesana from Italy had died. We will remember him as a fantastic colleague who always wanted to share his knowledge and skills within IBITA. Our condolences go out to his family, friends and colleagues.
Congress and AGM 2023 – Sweden
After three years of virtual meetings, it was great to see so many members in Marstrand for the AGM / Congress in Sweden!
We would like to thank the Nordic Group for a wonderful congress.
The Nordic Group would like to inform you that Hoodies and T-shirts are still available to purchase. Also there is still the opportunity to pay to view the Webinar from the Educational Day held on Saturday 26th August. The deadline for these opportunities is 31st October 2023.

Our appreciation also to the Education Committee and Research Committee for organising the Education Day and the instructors who led the workshops and practical sessions, all Committees for their reports and extraordinary work, and the Associate Members who did an excellent job as tellers during the AGM.

Certificates of AGM Attendance have been sent by email. Please note that only members who attend the full day of the AGM receive a Certificate of AGM Attendance. Certificates of Attendance for the Education days has been emailed to the members who attended IBITA Subscription Receipts will be sent by email in October
PLEASE read the Chairperson’s Post AGM Circular LINK This has information about the motions that were passed at the AGM; the new committee members that were elected (LINK to Committees page ) and requests for actions to be taken by the membership.
The 2023 Byelaws LINK have been updated to reflect the decisions made during the AGM and uploaded to Google Docs. The 2023 Procedural Manual and files should be available very soon.
The minutes of the AGM should be on the website by late September / early October
