Executive Committee News:
Paul Kroonenburg: 27th April 1946 – 15th May 2022
Our longstanding Honorary Life Member, Paul Kroonenburg sadly died on 15th May.
Paul was an active member of IBITA since 1989 and became Secretary in 1990 at the Berlin Meeting. He developed the membership database and the IBITA website, initially sending out CD’s to all members every year so we all had up to date documentation. He was always ready to answer member’s questions and requests for help. For many years he also hosted Executive Committee Mid Year meetings in his own home. He was awarded the Honorary Life membership in 2001 and the Distinguished Service Award in 2008. He retired from the Executive Committee at the 2014 AGM in Florence. Our condolences have been passed on to his family.
