Letter to membership regarding teaching in China
Please pay attention to this very important letter LINK from the country representative of China. The EC fully support its content.
Research Commitee
The ResCom would like to invite IBITA members to volunteer for our Reading Circles initiative. We have recently completed our review of 2024 and are now looking ahead to 2025. This is a valuable and fulfilling opportunity to stay up-to-date with leading journals in the field, while contributing to the collective knowledge of our community.
As part of this initiative, volunteers are assigned 3–4 journals and are asked to look for articles that may be of interest to IBITA members. Selected articles are then shared for inclusion in the IBITA library. The contribution can be flexible — either a one-time effort or an ongoing (e.g., yearly) involvement, according to each volunteer’s availability.
If you are interested, please contact Kostas ([email protected])
Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee is still actively searching for members interested in standing for election to IBITA committees for the 2026 term.
We are pleased to report that several committees already have members willing to stand for a second term, including the Executive Committee (Secretary position), the Nominating Committee, the Research Committee, and the Qualification Committee.
However, we are still looking for interested candidates for a number of committees, including:
- Verification Committee
- Appeals and Grievance Committee
- Bobath Development Committee
- Qualification Committee
- Instructor Training Committee
- Research Committee
- Peer Review Committee
- Education Committee
In addition, this year we have the newly created Social Media Committee.
This committee was proposed by the Executive Committee following the fruitful discussions held during the AGM in Verona regarding the future communication strategy of IBITA. Effective communication is essential to strengthen and protect the IBITA brand, promote our educational activities, and increase the visibility of the Bobath Concept worldwide.
For this reason, we are particularly interested in hearing from members who have experience in communication, marketing, content creation, graphic design, social media management, or related fields. We would be delighted to arrange a meeting to discuss the committee’s aims and explore how your skills and experience could contribute to this important initiative.
We would also like to remind all members that detailed information about the role, purpose, functions, and composition of each committee can be found by logging into the IBITA website and accessing the “Bylaws and Rules & Regulations” document in the IBITA Documents section.
If you have any questions about committee work, the opportunities available, or how you can contribute to the future development of IBITA, please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected]
We look forward to hearing from you and thank you for considering supporting IBITA through committee involvement.
