READ COMMENTS FROM PARTICIPANTS ON 2023 BCIC MODULE
“It was a great chance to connect with and learn from other participants (instructor-candidates/
“One thing I would like to emphasize about the modules is that we not only learned specific facilitations and current theory but were also shown and explained many different teaching methods. The same applies to patient treatment! We not only received intensive support with the treatment itself, but also support in explaining our clinical reasoning to participants.” ( BCIC Germany)
“As a Bobath Instructor, I took part in the Upper limb rehabilitation training module to update my knowledge and to continue my training in exchange with other instructor colleagues. I was also motivated by the desire of Bobath instructor candidates to do a traineeship with me. I wanted to bring myself up to date in order to support the assistants in their training process in the best possible way. My participation exceeded my expectations. In addition to a large amount of very up-to-date theoretical content, various didactic forms of learning were presented. The focus was on practical treatment approaches based on theoretical principles. The patient demonstrations and practical work on patients were particularly valuable. I found the learning atmosphere in the entire group and in the teaching team to be very good. I particularly liked the intensive, very respectful supervision by the entire teaching team, which focussed on individual questions in theory and practice.
I am definitely planning to take part in another training module and can also highly recommend participation for experienced Bobath instructors”.
(Martin Scheufler, Basic Bobath Instructor, Germany)
