Congress and AGM 2023 – Sweden
Final plans are being made for the Congress and AGM being held in Marstrand. The Nordic group have been busy preparing to welcome us to Sweden.

- Collect Voting Cards
- AGM Friday 25th August 08:00 – 08:30 ALL eligible members must collect a voting card

- You may choose to download the folder with all files to your computer so you can review them offline. The links will only work if you are online, but the files are all clearly named. Most documents have been linked to the agenda but a few outstanding documents will be linked before the AGM. Please keep reviewing the Agenda to see the new linked documents
- Please note that voting rights are dependent upon fulfilling member duties:
- SIS submissions MUST be completed by 30th June and subscriptions must be paid before 12th August for voting cards to be issued
- AGM Attendance Certificate. You are required to attend the full AGM day to meet the AGM attendance requirements. A certificate of AGM attendance will only be issued if you attend the full AGM day.
- Educational Days. Attendance certificates will be issued to members for your CPD portfolio.
- Committee Tables. Representatives from our standing committees will be available during morning and afternoon breaks on Thursday for meet and greet, questions and discussions. We look forward to meeting you
- All Instructor Candidates – the meeting will be on Thursday 24th August 8.00 – 9.15am at the Marstrands Havshotell
- Qualification Committee and Qualification Panel meeting – Thursday 24th August 17.30-18.30 at LIne’s Clinic
Statement of Instructor Status (SIS) for 2023. Some members have still not submitted their SIS – this is a requirement for membership.
The 2023 SIS for all members including retired members and instructor candidates closed on 30th June. All members including HLM, retired must complete their SIS every year to maintain their membership of IBITA.
All Instructor Candidates (BCIC and ACIC) must upload a personal training profile form (PTPF) with their SIS submission even if they have not completed an assistantship during the last year.
To complete your SIS please go to the member webpage – Select “Your Profile” – select “Edit your Profile” – select “Fill in your Statement of Instructor Status Survey”.

Instructor Training Committee
The Instructor Training Committee is currently preparing to teach the below 2 Modules in Sweden
BCIC: UL- 28th – 31st August.
ACIC: Advanced Clinical Reasoning – 20th – 23rd August.

Post Congress ACIC module – Clinical Reasoning (4 DAYS POST AGM)

Research Committee
A Letter to the Editor regarding the article by Pathak A et al, The Bobath Concept (NDT) as rehabilitation in stroke patients: A systematic review has now been published and is available via this LINK. The letter was written by Agnieszka Sliwka and Hanna Aviv and will be discussed at our Congress Education day in Sweden
