  • The “More Experienced Instructor” is the Instructor who evaluates the Basic Course Instructor-Candidate (IC) on their potential “final” assistantship before submitting their portfolio to the Qualification Panel. This Instructor will then be able to advise the Basic Course Instructor-Candidate on their readiness for potential qualification.
  • The “More Experienced Instructor” will be knowledgeable of the Qualification Process and will work with the Basic Course Instructor-Candidate to prepare and teach the Basic Course according to IBITA guidelines.
  • “More Experienced Instructors” can be contacted by Basic Course Instructor-Candidates wishing to plan a potential final assistantship. “More Experienced Instructors” are identified on the members list webpage. You can search for “More Experienced Instructor” and sort by country.
  • Suitably experienced instructors wishing to be on the “More Experienced Instructor” register may send a completed Expression of Interest form (EOI) with the required supporting evidence to the Chairperson of the Qualification Committee at any time.
