- The ITC are planning to hold a Pre AGM IC Training module in Slovenia from 18th – 21st September 2021. As soon as more information is available it will be posted on the website
- 2020 IC Module – Title: Understanding the Complexity of Postural Control for the Functional Recovery of the Upper Limb and Hand
- Teaching Team: Cathy Eustace, Monika Pessler, Line Syre, Helen Lindfield and Ana Isabel Almeida
- Venue: : Neuroplastic Centrum AB, Marstrand Sweden
- Dates: Saturday 22nd August – Tuesday 25th August, 2020
- Participants: 24 – Instructor-candidates and Instructors.
- Costs: € 400,00 (Associate Members) and € 500,00 (all other members). Tea and coffee will be provided
- Instructor-Candidate Training Module Grants – Please refer to the Policies and Procedures 5.1.2 Instructor-Candidate Training Module Grants. Deadline 30th January.

- Instructor-candidates will be given priority registration on a “first come, first served” basis until April 1st. All instructor candidates, and prospective new candidates meeting the criteria below, are encouraged to submit their I-C Training Module registration before April 1.
- An individual, who is not yet a member of IBITA, may email the IBITA Secretary requesting permission to register for an I-C Training Module. The request must be accompanied by a letter of support from a Full Member, verifying anticipated successful first assistantship completion a minimum of one month (30 days) prior to module commencement. The individual must be a registered/paid Associate Member a minimum of one month (30 days) prior to module commencement. The one-month time frame allows the possibility to offer registration to an individual wait listed if the assistantship is not successfully completed. Note these individuals are not eligible for the IC Training Module Grant as only current ICs may apply for the Instructor-Candidate Training Module Grant with submission deadline January 30. It is the responsibility of the supervising Full Member to provide the prospective IC all relevant information.
- After the receipt of your module registration form you will receive a confirmation and an invoice with payment details.
- Participants are advised not to book flights and accommodation until they have received confirmation that they have a place on the module.
- Payment:
- The Module fee payment deadline for Instructor-candidates: The fee must be paid no later than 1 May
- The Module fee payment deadline for other applicants: The fee must be paid no later than 1 June
- If the module fee is not paid by the deadline your registration will be cancelled.
- Cancellation Policy: Once your confirmation is received cancellations will not be accepted after this time unless an alternative participant is identified.
- Observational Places
- The ITC would like to make the IBITA membership aware of the availability of two observational places on the module. Observational places are available to qualified instructors who have previously completed the module as a participant and wish to develop their understanding of the training process and the module content. They will allow instructors who wish to consider being part of the teaching team on these modules to work towards this goal.
- Instructors interested in these observational places can apply by email to the ITC chair Helen Lindfield on [email protected] with a personal statement identifying how they feel the experience will support their learning and development. Please submit applications by 18th March.
