Executive Committee News
We would like to welcome two new Associate members and wish them every success with their training:
Mr Atsushi Kojima from Japan and  Ms Sanna Hosio from Finland
Instructor Training Committee 
I-C Training Module Registration will open January 1, 2020. 
Instructor-candidates will be given priority registration on a “first come, first served” basis until April 1st 2020.  All instructor candidates should submit their I-C Training Module registration before April 1 to secure a place on the module.The 2020 ITC modules in Sweden will be:
  • 22-25 August – Pre AGM IC Training Module: Postural Control and the Upper Limb
  • 30 August -2 September – Post AGM ACI-C Training Module: Using Task Analysis as a tool for developing clinical reasoning skills in the Bobath Concept

Instructor-Candidate Training Module Grant submission deadline is January 30.  Refer to Procedural Manual 5.1.2 IBITA Instructor-Candidate Training Module Grant.

Education Committee
The Education Committee is working proactively to build on and develop membership resources with respect to the Basic Course Case Report.
Your feedback is important to us and we value your opinions. Thank you for taking the time to complete the very brief survey if you haven’t already done so. To date there have only been 24 responses to this survey from the membership. Please click on the link below and take 5 minutes to complete the survey.

Research Committee
The Research Committee would like to bring to the attention of the membership that the document ‘Bobath Research In Progress” does not currently contain any information.  The Research Committee invites all members, who are currently pursuing research relevant to the Bobath concept, to update this document directly on Google docs: BOBATH RESEARCH IN PROGRESS

The Research Committee would like to remind the membership that assistance and guidance are offered to members involved or interested in being involved in research (i.e. providing suggestions to manuscripts, identifying relevant research questions, advise on setting up research protocols, etc.)

At the AGM the proposal for a Scientific Director was discussed (LINK) and the presentation given by Julie Vaughan-Graham (LINK).  Please could members discuss this issue in their country groups and / or with colleagues and send their ideas to the Research Committee by 31st December, 2019.

The Qualification Committee would value your feedback on the Instructor – Candidate evaluation form that was updated earlier this year. To date only three members have completed this survey so please, if you have used this form to evaluate the teaching of an Basic Course Instructor-Candidate during an assistantship please could you complete the Google Survey before December 25th –  LINK to survey

Australian Bobath Tutors Association Conference 2020
This conference, which includes pre-conference workshops and a welcome cocktail party, will be held in Melbourne on 8th and 9th February 2020.
