Appeals/grievance Committee
I Purpose
The Appeals/Grievance Committee will receive and act upon appeals and grievances regarding members of IBITA.
II Composition
1. The Appeals/Grievance Committee will consist of three members with voting rights, elected at the Annual General Meeting..
2. The term of office will be three years.
3. A member of this committee may be re-elected, but may serve no more than two consecutive terms of office.
4. A member of this committee may not serve on the Executive Committee simultaneously.
5. The committee will elect its own chairperson.
III Conduct
1. The Appeals/Grievance Committee will meet as required.
2. The committee will submit a report to the Executive Committee midyear meeting and to the Annual General Meeting.
Complaints procedure
1. Complaints against members of the association.
a. Any complaint regarding a member who is considered to have failed to fulfill competently the Byelaws and
Rules & Regulations must be brought in writing to the chairperson of the Appeals/Grievance Committee.
b. Prerequisite is the unsuccessful attempt to solve the problem directly with the member concerned.
c. A copy of the complaint must be sent to the chairperson of the association and the member concerned.
d. Complaints will be dealt with as described in the Procedural Manual.

a. Any complaint regarding IBITA as an association must be brought in writing to the Executive Committee
Chairperson.
b. Complaints will be dealt with as described in the Procedural Manual.
